This guitar sounds as good as it looks thanks to a solid spruce top, maple back & sides, rosewood fingerboard and mother of pearl inlays. It has a smooth "C profile" neck, a large tortoiseshell Pickguard plus a bone nut and saddle. Playing this guitar makes it abundantly clear why the J-200 is so beloved by musicians and why it'll continue to be a flagship of Gibson's guitar arsenal.
