It is clean, cosmetically, and it is fully functioning. The neck is straight, the original frets are not worn, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the Guitar is the original hardshell case.

This is a gorgeous Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom that is unlike anything else we have seen in quite some time! This Natural Les Paul Custom is not only stunning but quite a rarity! The multi-ply binding around the body adds dimensionality to the look and the all gold hardware makes for the perfect final touch.

The neck is made from 3 pieces (plus 2 more for wings on the headstock) of highly figured maple. It's hard not to stare at this beauteous neck when in playing position, it is truly captivating! The fingerboard is made from a solid piece of Rosewood (NOT Ebony) and is loaded with Mother of Pearl Block Inlays. The fingerboard radius is 12" for a uniformly flat feel from the nut to the heel.

A mahogany body is capped with a superbly figured flame maple top, complimented further by a natural nitrocellulose finish! Multi-Ply Les Paul Custom Style binding surrounds the body and headstock for that elevated look. The body is also bound on the front and back of the guitar giving it the ultimate in definition and contouring lines.

The 490R Humbucker installed in the neck position provides a thick, searing tone, that is perfect for the lead player looking for violin-like sustain that sings with a smooth top-end. The 498T Humbucker in the bridge position sure is fiery so it does incredibly well through overdriven and gained-out amps. These pickups clean up well, particularly in the middle position where you can flavor each pickup to taste. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control and is accessible via the 3 position toggle switch. Personally, I will ALWAYS prefer a Custom for my go-to Lead Guitar!

Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be.
