The neck is made from mahogany and is topped with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Hamer's Victory Mother-of-Pearl Fingerboard Inlays class things up a notch. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a very good playing guitar and it sounds absolutely fantastic thanks to the Seymour Duncan Custom in the neck and Custom Custom in the bridge. Each pickup has its own volume control and there is a master tone control as well. A 3-way pickup selector toggle grants access to each pickup or both at the same time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis guitar weighs in at 7 lbs 13 oz, rather light-weight when you consider the tonewoods used. However, it was built with a chambered body and no f-holes. The guitar is very loud, and resonant as a result. And weighing under 8 lbs ain't too shabby either!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe neck measures in at .883\" at the 1st fret and .949\" at the 12th fret. It's got a nice full feeling to it, not a slim neck in ay position but by no means a baseball bat either. If you dig a slim 59 Les Paul, you'll probably find this neck comfortable.
