Black Limba, also known as Korina, earned notoriety in the late 1950's, being used on early Gibson Explorer's and Flying V's. This is a rare tone wood, loved for it's tonal properties and Ooh and Ahh'ed over due to it's looks. This is the 1st time I can recall seeing and acoustic with back and sides made of Korina. If you are looking for something new and cool, this Limited Edition from Taylor is worth a strum!

The Grand Auditorium Body (signified by the 14 in the model name) provides a very comfortable shape for many players. It's a balanced sounding shape, less boomy than a dread and less boxy than smaller guitars. Sort of that perfect middle ground. When combined with Korina, which lands somewhere in the realm Koa and Mahogany, you get a perfectly focused and articulate sound, perfect for the singer looking for an instrument to support their voice.

Taylor Guitars have been around since 1974 and Bob Taylor has been there every step along the way. Taylor Guitars changed the entire Acoustic Guitar industry making them more playable, easier on the fingers and more and more tuneful. From incorporating modern manufacturing techniques that have allow for much easier repairs to developing great sounding but easy to use electronics systems, Taylor Guitars as always been THE player driven acoustic guitar manufacturer.

The Music Gallery always has a wide selection of Taylor Guitars in stock.
