Every guitar we receive from PRS finished in this color seems to find a home fast. This one, with its Artist Package top will certainly not be without a home for long! Tie in the fact that it's a McCarty 594 SingleCut but its also a Semi-Hollow and you have one exceptional guitar with top-shelf parts, tonewoods, and craftsmanship across the board!

An Artist Package PRS is rated above a 10 Top. It comes with what is referred to as an Artist Grade Top. The carved figured maple top on the PRS is to die for! It is loaded with gorgeous figuring made only more attractive by the shop favorite Copperhead Burst! The scraped edge gives us the visual impact of binding but with the figured maple of the top itself! No plastic or celluloid to separate and crumble years down the road. This is a tasteful, elegant design touch that PRS has been doing incredibly well for decades.

The Semi-Hollow design of this instrument helps adds some delightful acoustic qualities to it. The body resonates very well, as does the neck, showcasing exceptional transfer-of-resonance, another thing every single PRS Guitar comes stock with. Plugged in, the Semi-Hollow design adds a big bottom end to its sound. The pillowy or cloud-like pad of Low-End allows the top-end to sparkle sweetly with charm, subtlety, and nuance. Weighing in at only 6 lbs 9 oz, this is a real feather-weight considering the dense woods used in its construction.

The classic tonewood combo of Mahogany, Maple, and Rosewood is here and the wood selection is impeccable. The Artist Grade carved maple top sports flame everywhere and offers a different look from every angle. The fantastic Mahogany body is routed out for the Semi-Hollow design which also relieves weight considerably, another added benefit!

Lastly, the factory-installed 85/15LT pickups are the shop favorite, as evident by their selection in our multiple runs of Wood Library guitars. These are the Low Turn (LT) versions of the 85/15 which decrease output, open up the top end, and deliver unprecedented high-end clarity for a humbucker. These pickups coil-tap better than any other PRS Pickup, and frankly, better than most other pickups I have heard split. I have heard these pickups cluck like a Tele one second and sing like Santana with the push of a tone control.

Features

PRS

Artist Package

McCarty 594 SingleCut Semi-Hollow

Weighs 6 lbs 9 oz

Copperhead Burst

Artist Grade Carved Figured Maple Top

Mahogany Body

Mahogany Neck

Pattern Vintage Neck Profile

Rosewood Fingerboard

Birds Inlays

Bound Fingerboard

85/15LT Humbuckers

2 x Volume

2 x Tone w/Push/Pull Coil Taps

3 Way Toggle

Original Hardshell Case

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9260/8643/files/Prs-mccarty-594-copperhead-burst-200278167-3.jpg?v=1790434353
https://serdava.myshopify.com/products/prs-artist-package-limited-mccarty-594-singlecut-semi-hollow-in-copperhead-burst-200278167
