Humbucker meets single-coil in what was a groundbreaking venture for Fender at the time. Luckily, this one was NOT built during the CBS era so no loose neck pocket, thick finish, and poor fretwork, nope! These made in Mexico Vintera instruments are bringing insane value to the table!

For players who want the style and sound of Fender’s golden era, we created the Vintera® ‘70s Telecaster® Custom. Equipped with the coveted features that defined the decade—including period-accurate neck profile and playing feel, along with re-voiced pickups—this guitar has all of the articulation and punch that made the Telecaster a legend.

We recreated the pickups to sound more like the ‘70s originals. By combining the vintage-style single-coil bridge pickup with a fat-sounding Wide Range humbucking neck pickup we added some beef to the traditional Tele® bite. The “Thin C”-shaped neck has a 7.25”-radius fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets for a classic feel. A vintage-style Tele® bridge with three steel barrel saddles gives this Telecaster its characteristic twang, while “F”-stamped tuning machines offer period-correct aesthetics, classic feel, and rock-solid tuning stability. Other features include a three-bolt neck plate, chrome hardware, and vintage-style strap buttons. Includes a deluxe gig bag.

Features

Fender

Vintera Series

'70s Telecaster Custom

Black Finish

Alder Body

Weighs 7 lbs 15 oz

Thin C Shaped Maple Neck

7.25" Radius

21 Vintage Style Frets

Pau Ferro Fingerboard

25.5" Scale Length

1.650" Nit Width

Vintage Style 70's Single Coil

Fender Wide Range Humbucker

2 x Volume Controls

2 x Tone Controls

3 Position Blade Pickup Switch

3 Steel Barrel Saddles

Vintage Style Tele Bridge Plate

F Stamped Tuning Machines

MPN 0149722306

Deluxe Gig Bag Included

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9260/8643/files/Fender-vintera-70s-telecaster-custom-black-mx20057598-2.jpg?v=1790434278
