Here we go, time for a shoot out boys and girls! We all know the stakes here. It's solid-state modeling technology right up against the time tested, vacuum tube original! Is this imitation as good as the original? LET'S FIND OUT if the Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb can stack up to the time-tested and long-time player preferred Tube versions!

First off, as of the summer of 2020, we make our demo videos with this amp. Why? Because it sounds fantastic even with the most simplistic setup we can configure. We run an XLR to 3.5mm out of the DI on the back of this amp with the cab 2 simulator setting into the 3.5mm mic jack on our Nikon. That's it. No mics, no placement, no mess of cables, no distance necessary. Pure Fender awesomeness via the DI, the 1x12 speaker, or, mute the speaker and use it as a headphone amp with an external mixer. This thing fits in EVERYWHERE and is ultra-light compared to the tube versions.

In a bold Fender first, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amplifier uses massive digital processing power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat: faithfully modeling the circuitry and 22-watt power output of an original Deluxe tube amp. Using a high-performance 100-watt digital power amp to achieve the headroom and dynamic range of a real vintage Deluxe tube amp, paired with the pronounced sparkle and clarity of a single Jensen® N-12K neodymium speaker and a resonant pine cabinet, the result is tubeless Deluxe Reverb tone, volume, and dynamics virtually indistinguishable from the all-tube original. And with all these features, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is in fact about only half the weight of an all-tube Deluxe.

Front panel features give guitarists a playing experience identical to the tube version, including Fender’s world-standard reverb and tremolo effects. Additional rear-panel features deliver modern convenience and flexibility—including an output power selector for full power and five attenuated settings, balanced XLR line output with impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations, mute switch for silent stage or recording use, USB port for firmware upgrades, and more.

We are in love with this series. We have A/B'ed them many times in our back room with the tube versions and for some applications, the Tone Master version is superior, especially when it comes to overdrive or if recording is your thing.

Features

Fender

Tonemaster Series

Deluxe Reverb

MPN 2274100000

UPC 885978072200

Modeling Amplifier

Normal and Vibrato Channels

Jensen N-12 neodymium speaker (ultra-lightweight)

Selectable Output 22-12-5-1-.5-.2 Watts

Balanced Outputs via XLR w/Volume Control

Cabinet Simulator

Solid Pine Cabinet

2 Button Footswitch Included

Onboard Tremolo and Reverb

8 Ohms Operation

17" Height

9.28" Deep

24.1" Wide

Weighs 23 lbs

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9260/8643/files/fender-tone-master-deluxe-reverb-combo-amplifier--4_85360d62-e864-4ba1-85eb-d9fd2dc0b83f.jpg?v=1790434458
